Wildlife, Animals, Plants, Trees
To me, this is an incredibly important part of the outdoors. Sadly, I’m not an expert in this, even though I do have my Collins Guide to The Birds of Britain with me, as well as a Collins Gem of British Wildflowers. There are plenty of other books I’d like to carry to help me identify things, but hey – they’re damn heavy! The real trouble is I can never remember what it is that I have seen, and sometimes, I can’t even work out what is I am looking at, perhaps I’m not using the books in the best way?!
I’ve seen some beautiful flowers and birds, tasty looking fungi (probably means it will poison me) and some crazy looking insects. But generally I have no idea what they are. So this section of the web site is for you. If you have something interesting regarding Animals Plants and Wildlife, i.e. where you can see what, is the loch ness monster real? It is a bird, is it a plane, no it’s….a flying fox. Send it through to articles@walkandtravel.com
